Bob Hurren Trophy
Are you a Newly Qualified Referee and a member of Stockport Referees Society? If so, you may want to join the Bob Hurren Trophy.
This competition is open throughout the season and a member of the committee will come and give friendly advice and support. At the end of the season the most improved referee will receive the trophy.
The visits to the games are not a formal observation and are more of a face at your games to share basic advice or to offer guidance on what you could improve on. This could be the tone of the whistle, trying to close play a little more or signals. You will not need to worry about someone “observing” you. We are there to support.
